On 27th August, VCOM will be hosting a CBA Hero 3v3 tournament with a little twist, there
will be 4 possible classes to compete in depending on your rating, and 4 winner teams crowned!

How to play? Just meet up in the lobby *Spur Tournament 1* ON 27 AUGUST FROM 2 PM GMT
WITH YOUR TEAM. Then you sign up by notifying a tournament representative in the lobby,
who will add your team to the list. If you don't have a team, sign up anyway to show others
your availability.

This is a classic double elimination, one night tournament with teams of 3. Your team will only
play matches against other teams in your class, which is determined by the team-players rating
in the Cba Hero TG ladder at the moment of sign up. They are:

Class 1: 1900>
Class 2: 1700>1899
Class 3: 1600>1699
Class 4: 0>1599

Classes are subject to change depending on number of players

You and you two other friends have to match inside one of these classes- However you can team
up with one player with rating in the class below, to make it easier to team with your friends.
Each round is BO3, until the Grand-finals which are BO5. Civilisations will be a mixture between same preset civs, and odd preset civs in the final rounds.

Tournament rules
- Teams cannot change players after tournament have started.
- If one player disconnects twice in a row your team may be disqualified.
- No deleting allowed. If a member of your team deletes it results in autoloss.
- Smurfing to compete in a different class is not allowed. If caught after tournament started your
whole team will be disqualified.

Prizes (per class)
With 16 players or more:
All winners will receive a badge on their profile and premium membership: 1st: 3 months Platinum, 2nd: 3 months Gold, 3rd: 3 months Silver
With 32 players or more:
All winners will receive a badge on their profile and premium membership: 1st: 6 months Platinum, 2nd: 6 months Gold, 3rd: 6 months Silver

Teams will have to agree which sides to play on Match 1, and swap sides on Match 2.
If teams cant agree, an host will decide for you with freaking dice.
Loser of Match 2, decide which side to play on Match 3.

the civs should be careful selected to still being playable

Mmm, I guess better 3 Class
Because; Class 1:1900> Only 50 Players right now, and someone are , like 10, then only 40 are real 1900, and not all maybe will play, then better:
Class 1: 1850> or 1800> more range to get players.
Class 2: same 1600-1800
Class 3: <1600

count me in im class 3!

To get the most players in each class, I think it should be like this:
Class 1: 1800+
Class 2: <1799

If someone was 1800+ in the old cba hero ladder but has no games in the new cba hero ladder, then he must play in the 1st Class.

I can cast the tourney and maybe stream it too.

Nice idea, can be mixed, old rated, and new rated, to do class 1,2,3.

the rating accurate is bad, i mean some old 2k players are 1600 now by inactivity, and they may want to play this tourney on the first class so they can't?
also will encourage to let highest class play on lowest class too

or they may want to play in 3º class .

Time to lose some games and get in 16xx class.

There should be a 2k class as well because atm there are 11 2k players till 27 there will be 25-30 2k players and almost all of them are active and will play the tourney.

There is a value called highest rating that is stored in the player's ladder details. Do not try to purposefully lose points to drop to a lower class, also old inactive players can be easily seeded with highest rating aswell.

Beware I will do checks, If you to either compete in a lower class or to enter with more than one account, I'll just have to ban you from the competition... so be nice please

And we can use old rating as well to fit the teams, but if you don't have an old rating, and your new rating isn't representative of your level, I suggest you start to playing some games

The classes can be tweaked if necessary, Though it will be hard to predict who will come, so this may be
subject of change on the day of the tournament.

And there will be some fun civs

Reality check : Only players with 19++ rate take part in tournaments ,, lesser noobs dont even know how to register ! For such noobs a guide must be present to make them play in a tournament where they feel they have a chance of winning games!
