yes AoC is the exact same now to what it was a 2-3 years ago in activity and fun.
- Tons of tournaments for everyone.. CBA/CBA Hero/ Bloods/RCB etc.
- Tons of daily competitive 1v1 or 2v2 or team games spread across all the maps.
- Much excite, very w0w.

But most are noobs / unknown 3rd world laggers who play brain dead maps all day like CBA/Hero random teams, random civs etc., it's not the same!
In any case it's been a good run, I remember talking about the death of AoC in like 2004 and it's still a topic of convo now 11, it can last a lot longer; CBA is also going very strong in steam AoC but there's no variety of players or maps anymore, let alone a variety of players who play all of those maps at the highest level.
Not as fun as it used to be. Not very exiting ofcourse. But you get same 200-250 max players, same as it used to be. Just lot of new unknown players. And everybody now playing Hero only, few CBA, very little rcb.
